  • In 2011, I wrote and published a book called Choosing the Right Learning Management System. The book was inspired by my passion for online learning and my desire to provide students with the tools that they need to succeed in their academic endeavors. I researched all of the Learning Management Systems currently available and I developed a product to product comparison. The book is designed to help administrators and educational technologists make informed decisions about choosing the right LMS for their organization.

  • About the Author

    Benjamin Perez is the Program Director of IT and Learning Solutions at California InterContinental University. Previously, he worked at the Orange Unified School District as a Senior Information Systems Analyst. In addition, he is a professor at several universities, and teaches courses in information technology, ecommerce, internet security, programming, database administration, and web development. He has worked with several Learning Management Systems (LMS) including BlackBoard, Pearson Learning Studio (formerly eCollege), and Moodle. Benjamin has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Information Systems. He is currently working on a Doctorate of Business Administration in Information Systems and Enterprise Resource Management.
